Evaluation guide · OpsLink team

Follow your workbook through the reporting handoff.

Use a representative report to evaluate import, field review, supervisor access and output. Keep your required fields and recipient’s format in view throughout the walkthrough.

Inside OpsLink

Review the readings behind the report.

The workflow

Start with a file your team knows

01

Choose the source

Bring a representative report and your required output.

02

Review the mapping

Compare the well, report time and populated values.

03

Follow the handoff

Review the dashboard and export with the people using the report.

1. Define the required result

List the fields, units, comments and output format your recipient needs. Choose a workbook with meaningful data in those sections, and keep its original filename and report context with your evaluation notes.

2. Confirm the file and destination

Upload a recognized .xlsx, .xls or OpsReport XML structure. Check the target well, report date and time, and any well-name warning. Review an existing draft before replacing it; finalized report times are protected from import overwrite.

3. Compare populated values

Review fluids, equipment, volumes, products, activity and remarks against the source. Check units, missing values and the selected calculation sample. Record required fields that need manual review so the team can resolve them.

4. Review well settings

With well edit permission, use Review Well Settings From DMR to compare current and incoming values and their source references. Review rig, hole and casing changes separately, then apply the values intended for this well.

5. Test the shared record and output

Export Excel or PDF from the chosen report time and compare it with the required output. Open the dashboard with a supervisor, follow a question in RigRoom and review inventory or closeout where those belong to your handoff.
