Use this checklist in MudLink to bring the well, fluid checks, operating inputs and materials into one report, then issue the record your recipient needs.

Inside OpsLink

Fluid measurements behind the daily report.

The workflow

Check the context. Review the inputs. Issue the report.

01

Choose the report

Confirm the well and exact date and time.

02

Review the record

Check fluids, operating inputs, inventory and remarks.

03

Complete the handoff

Submit the report and open its Excel or PDF output.

1. Confirm the well and reporting time

Select the intended entry in Report Dates. Check draft or final status and review prefilled values when starting a new reporting period. Several report times can belong to the same calendar date.

2. Review fluid and operating inputs

Check sample identity, units and the Sample for calculation selection. Without an explicit selection, the latest sample is used. Review hole, bit, pump and activity entries against the current field record.

3. Check volumes and materials

Keep surface tanks, in-hole fluid and circulating fluid scopes distinct. Review product units, opening stock, receipts, returns and usage. Use remarks to explain exceptions and leave missing values visible for follow-up.

4. Resolve readiness and submit

Use readiness links to correct the relevant inputs, then run the check again. Autosave keeps a draft; Submit Report completes the reporting workflow. Confirm Final status for the selected report time.

5. Inspect the issued file

Export from the selected report to use its exact time. Open the Excel or PDF and review well identity, fields, units, comments and cost visibility before handing it to the recipient.
